The summer health campaign has come to an end

The Lviv Railway’s Transport Trade Union Organisation has successfully concluded the 2026 summer health and recreation campaign. Against the backdrop of martial law and the ongoing challenges of the present day, the season’s main priorities remained maximum safety, psychological well-being and a high-quality holiday for the children of railway workers.

The main holiday venues this year were the ‘Polytechnic-2’ educational and health camp in Slavske in the Carpathians, where the children of employees from the Lviv, Stryi and Ternopil regions spent their holidays, and the ‘Chaika’ holiday camp (Khrinnyky village, Dubno district), which provided a wonderful summer for the children of employees from the Rivne and Kovel regions.

The programmes at both facilities helped the children unwind emotionally, make new friends and improve their health.

Dorprofsozh expresses its gratitude to the camp administrations and staff for their professionalism, teaching skills and for creating a safe environment for the children.

The highest praise for this joint effort is that, upon returning home and starting school, the children are eagerly sharing their memories of a wonderful holiday, whilst their parents are already actively ‘booking’ places for next year.

In analysing the results of the season, the Railway Trade Union emphasises the importance of continuing and actively developing cooperation with the camps and is committed to maintaining high standards of health and recreation for the children of railway workers.
