According to the preliminary agreement between the management of ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’ and the Trade Union of Railwaymen and Transport Builders of Ukraine, starting from 1 April 2024, hourly tariff rates, salaries and official salaries will be increased by 10%. We continue to negotiate in favour of our employees.
Explanation of the promotion
According to the decision of the Board of ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’ adopted on 3 April, the increase in hourly wage rates, salaries, and official salaries does not apply to employees whose positions are included in the nomenclature of positions of the Chairman of the Board and the nomenclature of positions of members of the Board of ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’ and who work under individual employment contracts, except for heads of services of regional branches.
Please note that the increase in wages for railway workers from 1 April 2024 is not related to the increase in the national minimum wage. According to Art. 4 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Remuneration of Labour’, the source of funds for remuneration of employees of self-supporting enterprises is part of the income and other funds received as a result of their business activities.
