When the Trade Union of Railwaymen and Transport Construction Workes of Ukraine learned that the generators in Ukrzaliznytsia’s medical evacuation cars had worked beyond their normal capacity and could no longer provide medical equipment and mobile air conditioners, it immediately turned to a reliable and trusted partner, the NGO Ukraine2Power.
Our partners promptly purchased and provided 12 diesel generators, which are already ensuring stable and autonomous operation of medical equipment in evacuation cars. The organization’s representatives saw this for themselves.
We are grateful to Ukraine2Power and personally to its co-founder and international cooperation coordinator in Germany, Natalia Fiebrig, and to the heads of the NGO in Ukraine, Viktor Kolesnik and Andriy Hladkyi, for their help in ensuring the evacuation of the wounded, as well as for their long and effective partnership.
Last year, thanks to the cooperation between the Chairman of the Trade Union Oleksiy Semerun’ and Ukraine2Power, 22 autonomous mobile power supply systems with a capacity of 7.2 kWh were delivered to railway units. Some of them are used in intensive care and operating rooms of all railway hospitals. Others are used at the Center for Track Construction and Repair branch of Ukrzaliznytsia during emergency repair work in the frontline areas and to provide living conditions for the employees, who are members of the trade union. This year, the systems have been supplemented with solar panels, which allows them to be charged even in the complete absence of stationary power supply.
Thank you for the powerful energy of goodness, Ukraine2Power!
