The first batches of food parcels have already been delivered to railway workers in the regions as part of the union’s cooperation with the Global Ukraine Rail Task Force, WE AID, United Way, Bane NOR, Rail Partners, SJ AB and Ukrzaliznytsia.

These were mainly employees of branches and PJSCs, where a small number of union members were covered by the programme (see photo). Representatives of trade unions collected the kits for them in early March https://zalp.org.ua/news/mizhnarodna-dopomoga-solidarnist-u-diyi/.

As part of this project, the Dnipro and Zaporizhzhya trade union territorial committees have already provided food parcels to their members (more details to follow).

And thanks to the operational reporting of the heads of trade unions, the Trade Union Council informs international partners about the progress of the joint project in a timely manner.

The Trade Union of Railway Workers and Transport Builders of Ukraine has been implementing its third large-scale charity project with food parcels since the start of the full-scale invasion. We would like to remind you that this charity programme applies to railway workers from the frontline and de-occupied territories, as well as those who are in difficult life circumstances and need help (regardless of their place of residence).
