On Tuesday, July 9, the corporate communication channel UZ VESE published information on the initiation of Ukrzaliznytsia in 2024. resumption of negotiations with the Trade Union of Railway and Transport Builders of Ukraine on the Collective Agreement of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
In response to the information disseminated by the Company, we inform that the trade union has not received any requests from JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” with the initiative to resume negotiations with a view to concluding the Collective Agreement of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”. In addition, we note that the only body authorized to conduct such negotiations is a joint working commission established from the parties’ representatives. This commission has not met since 2018, and negotiations have not been held since then.
The Trade Union of Railway and Transport Builders of Ukraine insists on refuting the information disseminated by JSC Ukrzaliznytsia as untrue. A corresponding appeal was sent to the Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
The appeal notes that the trade union, as a subject of the Joint Representative Body of Primary Trade Union Organizations for negotiations on the conclusion of the Collective Agreement of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, is open to resume substantive work on the draft Collective Agreement.
Regarding the notification on the resumption of health benefits, the trade union RE-EMPHASIZES that the decision of the Board of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” of 27.06.2024
No. Ts-82/39 Com.t. on the payment of financial assistance for health improvement to employees of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” at the level of 30% of the monthly tariff rate (official salary) was adopted in violation of Ukrainian legislation and the Sectoral Agreement between the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine and trade unions.
