Yesterday, on the eve of International Women’s Day, the YOUTH COUNCIL of the Union of Railway and Transport Builders held a webinar on the topic ‘Women’s Labour Rights: Defending them Together’.

Nadiia Yolkina and Alina Muzychenko are lawyers at the public organisation Labour Initiatives.
The event was moderated by Lidiya Naryzhnyak, Deputy Chairman of the Trade Union Youth Council.
They discussed opinion leaders, strategies for successful women’s leadership, the impact of military conflicts on women and the response of international organisations and state institutions to these challenges, and women’s participation in various spheres of social and political life.
The topic of women’s labour rights during martial law was also raised and discussed in detail.
