The Federation of Trade Unions of Transport Workers of Ukraine is an organization established in 2003 on the initiative of the largest trade unions in the transport industry to improve interaction with social partners in the process of regulating production, labor and socio-economic relations.
The heads of the MTWTU affiliates represent the interests of their trade union members in the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council, the Joint Representative Body of representative all-Ukrainian trade unions at the national level and their working bodies, as well as in state social insurance bodies.
The Federation of Transport Workers’ Trade Unions of Ukraine is headed by Oleksiy Semerun, Chairman of the Trade Union of Railway and Transport Builders.
His deputy is the head of the Marine Transport Workers’ Trade Union of Ukraine, Oleg Grigoryuk.
