Members of the Trade Union of Railway and Transport Builders of Ukraine (or their heirs) are entitled to financial assistance in the event of accidents at work and natural (sudden) death at the enterprise. The Regulation is effective from January 1, 2016.
Financial assistance is paid in the following cases:
– temporary disability due to an accident;
– full or partial disability due to an accident;
– death as a result of an accident;
– natural (sudden) death occurring at the enterprise.
Application for financial assistance
Also, in connection with the outbreak of the Covid-19 coronavirus epidemic, the Presidium of the Trade Union Council decided to provide additional social protection to trade unionists – medical workers of the Health Care Center branch of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, who are most at risk – due to coronavirus infection contracted as a result of their professional activities.
To this end, on April 16, 2020, Annex 2 to the current Regulation “On Providing Financial Assistance to Affected Trade Union Members from Occupational Accidents and Cases of Natural (Sudden) Death” was enacted (one-time payment of financial assistance to trade union members (heirs) in the amount of:
– 3 thousand games – in case of temporary disability due to coronavirus;
– 7 5 thousand. UAH. – in the event of death due to acute respiratory illness with COVID-19).
