In cooperation with the Global Ukraine Rail Task Force, WE AID, United Way, Bane NOR, Rail Partners, SJ AB and Ukrzaliznytsia, the union has already provided food packages to union members in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions and in some primary schools in Kryvyi Rih.
To do this, back in March, representatives of the Prydniprovska Railways road trade union, Zaporizhzhia trade union, and primary trade unions, led by Ruslana Tsap, deputy chairman of the road trade union, came to Kyiv, where they spent several days packing food for the union members and loading it into a truck.
The primary trade unions determined who should receive the food parcels, which, unfortunately, are limited in number, in accordance with the criteria of the charity project.
The Dnipropetrovs’k regional trade union distributed the food parcels to employees who are raising children alone, have large families, are homeless, have been displaced from the war zone, etc.
Hundreds of food parcels have become a significant support for the union members who continue to work in Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia region, in the immediate vicinity of the war zone, and are in difficult life circumstances.
The rest of the kits were distributed according to the criteria to individual union members of the Pavlohrad, Sinelnykivka, Pyatikhat, Kamianske, Verkhivtseve primary unions and several trade unions in Kryvyi Rih.
