The National Tripartite Social and Economic Council is a permanent tripartite body, established by the President of Ukraine to ensure social dialogue between employees, employers and the state.
The main tasks of the National Council are:
– Developing a consolidated position of the parties to social dialogue on the strategy of economic and social development of Ukraine on the formation and implementation of state economic and social policy, regulation of labor relations;
– Preparing and submitting coordinated recommendations and proposals to the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers on the formation and implementation of state economic and social policy, regulation of labor, economic and social relations.
The Council is headed by by three co-chairs who are also the coordinators of the parties.
The National Council is composed of an equal number of authorized representatives of the parties to the social dialogue at the national level, 20 from each: Government , all-Ukrainian trade unions and their associationsand all-Ukrainian associations of employers’ organizations.
The personnel composition of the National Council is determined in accordance with the procedure established by each of the parties to the social dialogue independently.
The interests of our Union members in the NTSET are represented by its Chairman, Chairman of the Federation of Transport Workers’ Trade Unions of Ukraine O.A. Semerun.
In accordance with the decision of the National Council, four working committees were formed in its structure with an equal number of members of the parties:
on economic development and entrepreneurship;
on social and humanitarian policy;
on the development of civil society and international relations;
on labor relations and the labor market.
