Everything that an employee should know and be able to do in his or her position is described in a document such as a professional standard.

Currently, 380 professional standards have been approved and put into practice in Ukraine, 107 of which define the competencies of various professions of ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’.

Recently, two new names for railway professions have also been introduced, which are still awaiting the development of professional standards: at the initiative of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, the names ‘Station Agent’ and ‘Operator under the Area Duty Officer (Railway Transport)’ were added to the national classifier of professions. These changes were approved by the order of the Ministry of Economy ‘On Approval of Amendment No. 14 to the National Classifier DK 003:2010’.

Specialists of the Trade Union Council participate in the development and approval of professional standards applicable to the railway. These professional standards, along with the orders (or protocols) that approved them, are posted on the union’s website in the subsection ‘Professional Standards (Orders)’ in the ‘Documents’ section. The Handbook of Qualification Characteristics of Employee Occupations, which also systematises job descriptions and qualification requirements for positions, is also available there.

For your convenience, this publication contains a complete list of professional standards applicable to the railway in alphabetical order. You can open and download the required standard by clicking on its name.

And here we publish standards that have been updated and added since the previous publication. (The translation of the names of professions is done automatically, so it may not correspond to the official terminology)
